I found a whole thread on FChat on this tranny.    Sounds like problems to me.  
 SOME of the parts are GM.....its not a direct drop in and a rebuild is quite 
salty from what I've read.

What is the word on the 6spd?

The company was Ricardo and primarily built truck & bus tranny's I believe.
