WOW Rob.......What a story!!!! Thank you so much for sharing!! Jim Sent from my BlackBerry® smartphone with SprintSpeed -----Original Message----- From: "Robert W. Angel, of Dayton Ohio passed away recently on Nov 30, 2009. I only knew him from the web but he told me many stories about his friendship with Enzo Ferrari and the Ferrari Dynasty. Some of the stories were amazing and I will surely miss him. He had an enormous Ferrari collection and I bought many rare and unusual Ferrari items over the past few years. Just to give you some perspective the painting hanging in Enzo Ferrari's bedroom was commissioned and given to him by Harold. I am deeply sorrowed by his passing. He shared many things with me that I would never have known otherwise....... He was a true gentleman. Here is one I am sure he would not mind me sharing.... -Rob, Love the car and delighted that you don't have the REAL BIG amount of black paint on thr lower area as a lot do. Enzo gave me my choice of any NEW off the line car to drive and I told them I wanted a 208. Then afterward he asked what car I decided to drive. When I told him he said any other American would have wanted the Boxer and that he would see that I drove a new Boxer also. He asked Why the 208? My answer that He must have made something really good for italy and I would never be able to drive a 208 in the USA. He asked what colour I decided on. My answer was there was only red. He then told me that a red Ferrari brought $5,000 dollars more than any other and white $5,000 less than any other colour (That was after market of course.) And he did have Dairio the Chief test driver bring around a new boxer I have a picture of the driver delivering it to me. Best Wishes, Harold TC Angel Although I never met him in person I hope that he considered me a friend....... Rob Robert W.
