Ferrari Mailing List: V12 added to the scuderia

Hello Friends,

   This is just a short note to announce that we have added a V12 to the 
Lindsay Scuderia.  Yes, we still have the 308GTB, the Mondial QV and the 
Triumph TR3.  Now Nancy has a '73 Jaguar E-Type, V12, automatic with A/C.  Mr. 
Phil Tegtmeier found this car for us and as if to continue his reputation, the 
car is even better than advertised!

   For 30+ years Nancy has quietly tolerated my sports cars, not able to drive 
any of them because of their manual gearboxs.  She now has her own sports car.  
It has a PILE of torque in any gear and the big 5.3 liter V12 is 
electric-motor-smooth.  The manual gearbox version of this car will pull away 
from stop, in to gear, idling!  The GM automatic leaves one wondering why 
anyone would mess with manual gear-shifting at all.  Add in power steering, 
power brakes and a nice cool A/C and she has a sports car that she can actually 
use in Houston's heat.
