Hello Rick, I drove a 1973 Jag V12 roadster XKE Series 3 with manual trans for a while in 1977-78. The car was fantastic, never overheated, etc in South Texas. I did SanAntonio to Eagle Pass in 1 and 1/2 hours! Things to watch are dinging the under-nose oil cooler scoop and overheating the between the v electronic module (some techs relocated them). Of course top up the SU damper oil each gas stop. The manual trans felt like it was tractor sourced but you really don't have to shift much. I wish I had it back! Regards! Dale KUNG HEI FAT CHOY!!!!!
