I'll agree with you there, Brian. My favorite scotch (currently) is $600 a bottle. and if you came to my house and had a drink, you'd never know that it wasn't $50 a bottle scotch. If I hear "Wow, this is really good". My reply is general "Yeah, I thought you might like it". If you have to jump up and down and inform your guest that the bottle you just polished off cost $X - what's the point? Still looking for that genuine 1963 bottle of Macallan. That's likely only $2,000 or so though. (Folks, I can drive a Chevy if need be, but life is just too damn short to drink cheap booze!) On 2/7/2010 2:32 PM, Brian E.
