There were a couple of interesting articles in a magazine called "Business F1" (or "F1 Business"??) about MS' "retirement".  There were very many behind the scenes powerplays going on in order to get Kimi into a Ferrari.  MS got the short end of the stick.  If you can, rewatch the end of the '06 Monza race when MS announced his "retirement" - note the body language when Montezemolo hugged MS in parc ferme.  MS has a look on his face as if to say, "Get the H*** away from me!"  Painfully obvious, in hindsight.  And frankly, given all that happened, I'm somewhat stunned at MS' loyalty to the team during his "off years".  Were I in his shoes, I'd have told them, "You want me out?  Then release me from my contract (and pay me handsomely for it!)."  But that's just me.

That, and my huge respect for Brawn (not to mention he and I share the same birthday!) is why I would like to see MS/RB kick Ferrari's butt this year.  Well, that and Ferrari having hired FA (but that's a whole other dead horse).
