For a 1981 308 GTSi:
Remember last week I said I was going to take my
water reservoir out ? Well I did it.
There are 2 , let's call them valves, valves on the
right side of the reservoir. That is when you're standing behind the rear bumper
as you take the reservoir out. I don't know which is which because in the parts
manual they are never shown together:
TAV. 16 picture #13 part #115150, it says THERMAL
VALVE
TAV. 19 picture #64 part #115471, it says BIMETAL
THERMOSTAT
So, which is which?
The one close to the rear screw holding the
reservoir has been disconnected for 9 years (I bought the car like that). It has
KLIXON 23 VT and 52 AF 4 VOT written on it. The other one that is more toward
the front is connected. I would like to change it. It has 9055 202 50/4C
8714 written on it.
Thanks for the help!
