Hey James not hard to remove the compressor at all. First take the car to a
shop that can evacuate the system after that remove wheel and wheel well, air
filter housing and duct work. Do u have euro or us car. Euro will have a rotary
compressor and us will have the york reciprocating comp. If US remove the
lower bracket 2 17mm nuts on the timing belt cover and 3 bolts on the
compressor bottom. The there are 4 nuts on the top of the compressor all 17mm
the comp will start to lower while removing them take loose the freon lines and
remove the belts then finish removing the nuts and then u you can manipulate
the comp out of the car. Should be easy

Subject: [Ferrari] 328 A/C

After years of paying out money and struggling with my A/C, I finally
took off the compressor. It works fine, I just had too many leaks
for it to work right. Anyone interested in a compressor?
Now that I no longer have the compressor hooked up, I would like to
take off the condenser. Anyone take one of those off? If so, what
does it take to take off the compressor. I suppose that with that
off, it will also help with the cooling. Thanks.
Jim
