Yea that’s my assessment as well

Did they take out the dash to do the job?

If not you will need to go under the dash module and look for a bad splice job

It should be very obvious!

It sounds like they spliced your alarm into you dash lights using a quick-splice and may have severed the wire. The lighting circit is aften used since it has current even when the ignition is off.

Guys,

I have a problem with my speedometer/rpm/ everything dash lights on my f355. I have heard of others having the same problem but I would liek to see if there might be a quick fix etc. I noticed this after I had a my alarm system installed . I noticed after about 2 months of driving I hit a small bump in the road and my dash lights went out momentarily. after another 2 months went by I hit another bump and my dash lights have been out since. I noticed that they had installed the receiver of the alarm control unit in the passenger foot rest which has all of the wiring and harness and fuse stuff there. I was thinking maybe this is where a wire might have been loosened etc. Or could it be up in front under the bonnet etc? Not sure but I had already taken out the dash and looked at the indicators and looked at the wiring there  nothing and had twisted on the light on stalk as well with it on. took out the fuse panel under the bonnet and looked at it and jiggled it there to get the lights to flicker etc. still nothing.. I am at wits end at the moment. Any advice would be appreciated and helpful at the moment.
