Thanks guys for your advices.. I checked where they did the alarm splice and found nothing related to the dash lights etc. I am really still perplexed but I think I will have to remove the control dash to find the wire that connects it all to the switch etc. I believe it is a yellow wire etc. Very frustrating to try to track down. I could tie a wire to the switch and power to the dash lights  to see if this addresses the problem then back track through to find the loose connection etc. Oh well....

Thanks,

George

Subject: [Ferrari] problem with my dash lights on my F355

Guys,

I have a problem with my speedometer/rpm/ everything dash lights on my f355. I have heard of others having the same problem but I would liek to see if there might be a quick fix etc. I noticed this after I had a my alarm system installed . I noticed after about 2 months of driving I hit a small bump in the road and my dash lights went out momentarily. after another 2 months went by I hit another bump and my dash lights have been out since. I noticed that they had installed the receiver of the alarm control unit in the passenger foot rest which has all of the wiring and harness and fuse stuff there. I was thinking maybe this is where a wire might have been loosened etc. Or could it be up in front under the bonnet etc? Not sure but I had already taken out the dash and looked at the indicators and looked at the wiring there  nothing and had twisted on the light on stalk as well with it on. took out the fuse panel under the bonnet and looked at it and jiggled it there to get the lights to flicker etc. still nothing.. I am at wits end at the moment. Any advice would be appreciated and helpful at the moment.
