Beginning to think I'd be better off parting out my 512TR
with a few strategic sales than selling it whole.

THREE THOUSAND DOLLARS?
Yikes -
And here I was bitching about dropping a grand on a real
Bosch complete lens set with silver trim for our '71 911T
restoration.
Seems if we buy a newer Ferrari we also need to invest
in "crunchables" such as bumpers, light cans and lenses. Then, place
them in a Halliburton Zero 21" carbon fiber carry on and place the whole mess
in a cool dry place.
Thank God the Italia only has two tail lights - THE
reason to buy one.

Darn good thing as the only available front driving lamps for
the 512TR are for French version cars or Euro version. A pair of them will
relieve you of a wee bit over $3k.

Anyplace that sells the 3M Clear bra would have that stuff. Not a bad idea
for the 348/512TR owners as all those lamps are approaching extinction if
not already there.Brian > > > > Date: Mon, 7 Jun 2010
