The 1970 and 71 Porsche had a trick clutch cable
that feeds though a plastic thingy with ears on the clutch folk. Trouble
is - plastic ears break off leaving those witless souls who are unable to shift
w/o a clutch stranded. Red lights were a bitch tho. Either time
perfect or learn to start car in first gear.

Oh - the fix? A carved aluminum thingy that
mimics the plastic thingy.
