Nice restoration...

I remember taking a welding torch to one of those in shop class when I was a senior in high school...  They needed to remove everything from the inside so they could get it on stage for a high school "Grease"...  I think it took us about 45 minutes to strip the car to its body shell and suspension...  A proper fate for a Fiat, though that car's styling was way ahead of its time :)

Good times...

In case anyone is interested in seeing the pictures I have just finished the Bertone X1/9 project and put her up for sale. First time I have dug into a little Fiat and I was very impressed and also it was fascinating how similar it was in design and parts to early 70 Ferraris. Bertone however fit removeable access panels in the truck and the firewall to allow you to reach all sides of the engine front and back! Wish my 328 had that.....

Oh and check out the wheels, god those were hard to find, I would happily sell the car without them as they are rare as hens teeth......

Anyway if you want to see pictures they are here..

Next project will be another Alfa or a Lancia Fulvia or that pesky 512tr I have been looking for......
