Superformance makes a quick turn rack for the 308....2.5 vs. 3.2 turns lock to lock.
A buddy stopped by last week on his return portion of his 2500mile cc trip in his '79 GT4.  I got to drive it...huge difference in steering response!!!

Keep in mind that I did my steering rack at the same time.   Consideration should be given here as the racks to leak and need rebuilt after 20+ years.   I can make a recommendation there if needed.   I decided to go with a âQuick Turnâ rack from Superformance and sold my OEM rack after it was rebuilt. J   WOW What a difference!

Another noteâ.There are 2 ways to do the bushings.    Remove and re-weld the OEM rubber bushings in, or use new âinsertsâ like I did.   The info is in the thread.

The 1st drive report is below:

the budget is in there.  A little less than $3300.   Keep in mind that some of the parts are specific to a GT4.    308 gts/gtbâs use much different spring set ups and slightly different shocks!

Feel free to type me with specific questions.
