were any other homes nearby hit recently?  Do you think they targeted you and perhaps knew you were gone for trips often as a pilot?  Or did they just pick a house and kick in the doors?

 

Take care -- as you say, no one was hurt and the only loss was stuff which can be replaced.

Those are great stories Dale do not know why they went for flat screens they are dirt cheap now but it is what it is and no one was hurt so that was important. These guys will get caught.

They recently caught a ring in the ATL area

HI CLYDE,

               SORRY ABOUT THE BREAKIN THEFT.

                THREE SHORT BREAKIN STORIES.

                AT EAGLE PASS, TEXAS ONCE THEIVES BROKE THE FRONT DOOR AND ATTEMPTED TO EXIT THE BACK DOOR THRU THE YARD. THE GUYS DIDN'T KNOW THE QWNER'S PET ADULT TIGER LIVED THERE. HE USUALLY GOT THREE LIVE CHICKENS A DAY. MORE THAT DAY! IT PROBABLY WAS HIS HAPPIEST DAY SINCE HE WAS BOUGHT OFF A CARNIVAL!

                  THE SECOND STORY HAPPENED TO ME IN THE 1970'S. I WAS LIVING IN TOWN AND CLEANING A RIFLE IN MY BACK YARD SITTING AT A PICNIC TABLE. I SAW HANDS COMING OVER MY PICKET FENCE. I AIMED THE BOLTLESS RIFLE BETWEEN THEM. WHEN THE FACE APPEARED THE BREAKIN GUY FROZE FOR ABOUT TEN MINUTES, MESSED HIS PANTS AND SLOWLY SLID BACK DOWN INTO THE ALLEY AND RAN.

                  THE THIRD HAPPENED IN WEST TEXAS. UP NEAR FORT STOCKTON A TEXAS RANGER WAS DRIVING HIS PERSONAL TRUCK WITH THE USUAL RIFLE RACK WITH SEVERAL UTILITY RIFLES AND SHOTGUN. THIEVES BROKE IN AND TOOK THE GUNS. UNFORTUNATELY THEY WENT INTO THE CAFE HE WAS EATING LUNCH AT AND TRIED TO SELL THEM. THEY WERE REPORTEDLY ALIVE WHEN THEY REACHED THE HOSPITAL SOMEWHAT LATER AFTER "RESISTING ARREST."

HARD TO RECOGNIZE THOUGH.

                   HOPE YOU GET YOUR STUFF BACK OR AN EQUITABLE SETTLEMENT.
