The cops did something similar - contacted families of a bunch of people wanted for various charges but had been unable to catch and told their "known associates" they had won some prize that would be awarded at a local stadium - when they arrived they were arrested - some even asking where their prize was?  Not very bright..

ah ah ah - that's good Scottie.

I have heard of people "Wining ball game, opera, big dance and show tickets" and then getting skinned.  Almost would be worth it to take the tickets and then sit and wait in a darkened house.  With adequate police protection of course - if they could get there in time.  heh heh
