You may have one or more leaking injectors, or the plate in the air
flow meter is not fully returning when the engine is shut off. Either
of these, could cause a small amount of residual fuel in the cylinders
to ignite when the engine is shut off.
Any difficulty starting the engine when hot (as in 5-10 minutes after it is shutt off when hot)?
This usually indicates a small loss of residual fuel pressure due to an internal leak (injectors, fuel pump check valve, etc).

Sometimes (not always), I get a slight run on after I turn the engine off. Sometimes it is just a small pop. What could be the cause of this? Thanks.
