OK

Just want some input from the knowledgeable and opinionated (you decide 
which one you are)...

I am taking my son and the Vette on a Road trip starting end of this 
month probably July 31st to August 13th.  We are starting out North of 
Chicago and we will drive to the following spots:

Pittsburgh (cousin lives there)
New York City (brother)
Boston (Aunt and Cousins)
Niagara Falls Take
East Lansing, MI (buddies)
Home

So while I have this mostly planned out with a place to stay for all but 
one location...  Places to stop along the way?  Best/scenic routes?  
Must try restaurants? Not in a big hurry here, I want to spend some time 
with my boy (he is 7) and see stuff :)...  Also what kind of time on the 
road should I expect in these parts of the country?  Routes to avoid?
