I second the notion... However this not being a democracy just head over to Maranello with your small army, I recommend doing it in August as the entire place will be empty and ripe for the picking...

But could you image a 458 Italia with a curb weight of 2400 lbs and heel and toe shifts you did yourself?  Wow that would be great.  Gotta go wipe the drool off my chin just thinking about it.

And in the Aston's defense, I believe all of their current models except the Rapide are available in manuals. People don't buy too many of them, but they are out there.

This is a good point as the new V12 Vantage (and maybe the V8 as well) will only come in manual.

They even developed a manual retrofit for the Vanquish at the end of its life, albeit as a GBP23,000 option...

This doesn't include shipping to England!

All this death of the manual, even in companies as sacred as Ferrari, has led me to think one thing.....that free democracies don't work for car companies....need to bring a dictatorship to set things right.

If you help bring me to power, I will return manuals, unassisted steering and other great things back to sports cars. We'll also overturn federal safety regs which have added a few hundred pounds to cars since the '90s.
