Hello, The Massa-Alonso episode in Germany still disturbs me. I realise a lot of things compel Massa to toe the company line not the lease of which are money, his F1 ride at Ferrari, etc but I think Ferrari looks like a joke having to structure championships. I realise this has hapened a lot in the past with many brands of car. I think if the two existing drivers can't win, get more talent and/or improve the cars. This "winning is everything and damn the rules" attitude is reflected in the various one make race series. Or manufacturing race type cars only suiable to race against themselves. No risk of losing to another manufacturer there of course. Quite a few brands of F1 cars and their drivers compete ith little or no chance of routine victory. They are the real competitors. Occassionally from such circumstances talent prevails like Tazio Nuvolari in his Alfa at the'Ring long ago. Not some person the race team management hands the victories to. Just my thoughts Dale
