I think the petite LeMans is up here at Mosport next week.  I missed it last year, but the year before went 2 of the 3 days.  It's a great series, and you can still get up close to the cars and drives.  Wandered through the pits and parking area, got up really close to the 430s while they were being worked on.

Great to hear the different sounds of all the cars.  A few years back, the rumble of Fellows' vette, the shriek of the Ferraris, and the weirdest thing, the diesels Audi's.

It's quickly becoming my favourite series to attend!

Some commentary after attending today's race...

Saw 1 Ferrari street car, a red Testarossa, parked in the Porsche parking area :)  To my son's credit when he saw it he went huminahuminahumina :)

Saw a nice Yellow Pantera.  And I have to say those are pretty cars, wow.  And an M1 race car BMW had on display.

Corvette Coral was catered by GM as usual, and Ron Fellows gave a really nice speech and told some good racing stories also.  Nice guy.  My boy landed a team racing hat just but looking cute...  Man that kid gets more free swag...  Oh and a drive on the kart track in a new Grand Sport Convertible...  Man that kid lives it up.  Corvette Coral sported about 300 cars this year.

The F430's running in GT2 are much louder and lower pitched then they were last year.  They sound good though, really good.  The GT2 Vettes though are the really unique sounding race cars in GT2, truly gut rumbling as they go by :)

Based on the number of other marques (Porsche, BMW, Nissan, Dodge) , all I can determine is that Ferrari owners these days don't give a rat's ass about racing, at least not GT racing, and that's just sad.  Prior years there was better turnout for F-car owners.

Just drove the 365 around the farm roads near my home. Real men don't need
power steering. Or air conditioning...

Convention??

Let's get this ship back on course...I'll start. I hope these cars are
exotic
enough for everyone.
