Many factors here, not being adaptable is not one of them. When he joined Ferrari in '96, when the POS they called an F1 car stayed in one piece for am entire race, Schumi drove the hell out of it and put an uncompetitive car on the podium more often than it should have been. His lack of pace now is hard to determined, as his teammate outpaces him more often than not, but has nowhere near the talent. Age? Motivation? Or possibly just team politics at play? MS thought that he would be on the podium in short order this year, not still languishing mid pack, or I doubt he would have gotten back into he car. T

Honda, Ferrari, Braun, MB. All under the design of the same person - Ross Braun. The people who design the Civic do not design F1 cars. You really can't compare the brands to their worldwide counterparts. When a team changes ownership/management in F1, all you essentially did was change the hood ornament. I don't think Braun is as "brilliant" an engineer as everyone makes him out to be. It may take him awhile but he is capable of designing a championship car. We just really have to give credit to the current engineers at Ferrari, Renault, McLaren, Red Bull etc for making good changes faster and that there are some really good drivers in F1 TODAY.
Just some random thoughts.
