Hello,

         Everyone has opinions so here is mine.

          To drive a F1 car takes some skills and a certain lack of body size, but literally hundreds if not thousands of athletes are trained to national or international levels of performance in various very demanding physical sports or military activity. Given access to instruction and equipment, I believe hundreds of drivers could compete effectively in F1 or any other motor sport.

          Of course some stand out; Nuvolari, Fangio, Moss, etc. But on a given day all these got beat too if things didn't fall their way. De Portago might have been a example of raw talent and no caution and little experience. The Rodrigues brothers certainly produced results far beyond most critics expectations.

          But I think excellent F1 drivers can be developed in mass.

          Just my thoughts.
