There was a thread on FerrariChat that detailed Baracca's  was from the city of Stuttgart's emblem. So that Porsche and Ferrari ironically share the same symbol.

I believe there is some truth that Baracca's horse had its origin form the same place the Stuttgart horse originated from. Not sure where I heard this but I rember the source as being credible!
