Easy, just extend the run session to 1 hour and watch the tuner cars' engine compartments go boom. I have yet to see a highly tuned Subaru, NSX with forced induction or any other kind of kit like this (even Dinan M3's and M5's) survive the weekend without needing to see a mechanic and a bank loan. My only real beef with forced induction is how it affects the sound...definitely not as pure.Yep turbo's completely mute the exhaust sound, however you can get some cool pop pop sounds out of them with the fire balls also :) And ultimately the one cool unique thing about forced induction (especially turbos) is how the torque curve is delivered in a dramatic way. When the boost kicks in on a 911 TT, it's a cool feeling. The latest TT are about completely linear, its like an electric motor kicking you in the ass. Early Turbo cars had a definite oh shit point on the tach and those are a handful on a race track. Lose the anti-FI kick or I'll have you blacklisted from ever owning a 288 GTO or F40. :)I'm pretty sure I don't want a 288, but I still drool a bit when I see an F40. Though that might just be hunger also? _________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe or modify your subscription options, please visit: http://lists.ferrarilist.com/mailman/options/ferrari/themightytoe%40gmail.com Sponsored by BooyahMedia.com and F1 Headlines http://www.F1Headlines.com/ |
