The plenum hose thing is the same issue the 308/328 has as well it sits between the cylinder banks and bakes. You need to change it and replace it with good acid resistant hose The 512 TR has this issue as well with the 4 small hoses under the respective intake plenums I had a hose develop a leak while on a trip a while back Even with the engine out these hoses are very difficult to get to CLYDE Capt. Some don't care for the looks of the 550, but I think it was the best looking Ferrari to come along in years, and much better looking than what replaced it. The 550 is just a big proper GT car to me. Only thing I've heard to watch for, is the cooling hose that runs between the two cylinder banks, under the plenum ??
