I am currently lowering a 328 which has the same suspension and I am having new 
springs made they are a very odd size not at all standard in any way. I've 
looked everywhere. Being in the heart of nascar heaven I have nearly endless 
resources and have come up empty many time so having springs made. If you would 
like my help remove your shocks send them to me and I will return them with new 
springs for about $1000

Are there any resources showing how to lower a 78 308 GTS?

I tried 205/35's with the 18" x 10" / 100 wire spoke knock off's but it made 
the car look funny.  Made a lot of friends tho and most asked if I had a 
"jumper."  What ever that is.  BUSWHAahahahahahah

Actually all I want to do is fill the space between the top of the tire and 
the inner fender a little more than stock.
