They're race cars. They're meant to be raced. They get depressed and lonely if they're not raced. Damage can be fixed. Guys that own them like Bamford and Mason can afford to have them properly repaired to the highest standard. I'd rather see a GTO with a little road rash from being used as opposed to a 100-point restored car that just sits in a garage. I think Jay Leno has it right: "Restore them to 100-point concours condition. Drive them until they're at 70 points. Repeat."
