I doubt there is very little, if anything on any of these cars, that is still as it was when they were new.  They have all more than likely had countless repairs and restorations of various degrees over the years.  Some of them have probably had whole new cars built around their serial tags.

As they say, it's impossible to do more than $2-300,000 damage to any car, regardless of it's value.  If it was a $20 mil car, and you rolled it, and it burned to the ground, you could rebuild it for $300,000, and it would still be as original (and valuable) as most of those cars on the track racing.

They're race cars.  They're meant to be raced.  They get depressed
and lonely if they're not raced.  Damage can be fixed.  Guys that own them
like Bamford and Mason can afford to have them properly repaired to the
highest standard.  I'd rather see a GTO with a little road rash from being
used as opposed to a 100-point restored car that just sits in a garage.
I think Jay Leno has it right: "Restore them to 100-point concours
condition. Drive them until they're at 70 points.  Repeat."
