Ferrari Mailing List: blown-blown 91 Testa Rossa

While going through some old photos, I came across these interesting photos. They were taken in Oct. 1991 at RoeblingRoad race track, during the annual FCA track Event. The pics show a twin turbocharged Testa Rossa convertible, with Ostrich leather seats. The guy who owned it was a very pleasant fellow (no one knew him, but we all agreed he reminded us of Robert Redford). He took all the kids and adults for a spin around the track (if they asked) until the engine exploded in a big puff of black smoke (at the front straight). The last I saw of him, his car was being towed away. As an aside. One of the original partners of Home Depot was also at the track, with his 288-GTO. He took me for a ride around the track--- I was very impressed.
