Wow, who wudda thunk good ole boy tire strategy winning races? Next thing you know they'll being doing "left" side only strategy... LOL. Racing/passing is good. Since we have a tire that degrades and requires multiple pit stops, they can get rid of what I find a little silly - two different tire compounds. Degrading tires does a better job of adding excitement than the two compounds ever did.
I'm for it just as long as F1 doesn't get a "car of tomorrow".
