Jim -

That is one of the things my company does. Would be happy to help you.
If you give me an idea of the materials on the walls / floor / ceilings
(plain sheetrock, brick, glass, etc) then our vendors will do a free
quick model of the room to tell you your current RT60 time and how many
square feet of what materials would bring it down to something workable.

Foam is a poor choice for a number of reasons, but if you want to look
around a bit, check out www.mbiproducts.com. Under Products check out
Cloud Lite or Colorsonix. Very effective, although not cheap. Of course,
happy to extend my discounts to a fellow lister.

Feel free to contact me off-line to discuss further - 843-834-2825.

Does anyone on the list have any experience with soundproofing? The
house we bought a year ago has an indoor gym (regulation 1/2 court
floor...roughly 40'x50' with 25' ceilings). We use it frequently, but
the echoing is annoying and I need a solution. My initial thought is to
put acoustical foam in the corners to see what happens, but I'd like to
get some advice since I'm going to have to rent a lift to get this
done....I only want to do it once. :)

Any advice is much appreciated.
