Ferrari Mailing List: (NFC) Soundproofing

Does anyone on the list have any experience with soundproofing?   The house we 
bought a year ago has an indoor gym (regulation 1/2 court floor...roughly 
40'x50' with 25' ceilings).   We use it frequently, but the echoing is annoying 
and I need a solution.  My initial thought is to put acoustical foam in the 
corners to see what happens, but I'd like to get some advice since I'm going to 
have to rent a lift to get this done....I only want to do it once. :)

Any advice is much appreciated.
