Hello Christian – Being stranded is NO fun. Our dual
dizzy 308GTS’ aft dizzy started acting funny to the extent it would drop
out the aft cylinder bank. Stranded. $%&*%*(*(^ I solved my problem with Pertronix set up. For fuses – Here is a guys web site.

[mailto:christianscott [at] juno.com] During
the recent 328 assessment thread someone mentioned the 328 fusebox issue.
A friend of mine has a 1986 328 that is beginning to suffer from the fusebox
cold solder failures. The first time it caused issues with the fog lights
which was not a big deal. Round two of the electrical gremlins involved
the fuel pump which led to the car being stranded in the median strip for an
hour and a half while waiting for AAA to find someone willing to flatbed a
Ferrari. The mechanic has been able to make several repairs to the
fusebox to keep the 328 on the road this season but I fear that they are only
temporary fixes. Is there a long-term fix or replacement for the 328
fusebox? Most
sincerely, Christian ____________________________________________________________ |
