Rob,
FWIW - the builder of my flat-tappet engine ('78 Spitfire) recommends Brad Penn exclusively. Don't believe there's a financial incentive, though I could be wrong. I think he just likes it as a quality oil with the proper amount of ZDDP. I know you've got a TON of time in that engine/car, so it's worth taking the time to find just the right product.
