You either pay a premium by going through a dealer or auction house or you buy from a friend. Most of the nice stuff sells privately so that the buyer and seller cut out the middlemen. I'll share more over a drink tomorrow...

Wow, crazy story....

Don't know anything about Michael Sheehan really except that he's supposedly an authority on these cars, esp. market values. The one thing I'll give him credit for is the ultra high end of the Ferrari game....the 288 GTOs, 275 GTB/4s, 410 Superamerica, etc.

So pardon my ignorance but let's say one of us has the money to buy one of these cars. Where do you start?

Phil can you find me and Lashdeep's favorite car?  The 250 SWB SEFAC.....gotta be SEFAC or nothing baby. :)
