Hello
I can understand the differences of opinion on the use of newly manufactured or NOS Ferrari parts being used to restore a Ferrari or allow it to be fully used again as a car.
Originally Ferraris were made to be driven, often raced
Wear and accidents were expected
Within reason, repair was assummed
Now many Ferraris are museum piece collectibles and may never be started or driven.
I personally think it is wonderful Ferrari makes available the needed parts to keep the cars useful and complete for those owners desiring to use their cars or even just present them in original form.
I also prefer any owner selling such a revisited vehicle to fully disclose how it came to be in its present condition.
Perhaps Ferrari should publish a list of what serial number cars received such new parts to replace previous original parts?
Regards
Dale
