Ahhh, a 105.  His guns look different than my happy days shooting 105’s at Ft. Sill.  This guys home page shows an ad for rechambering .45’s and other big bore pistols to .22 LR instead of a full load for target practice.  I have my Grandfathers 6” Colt Police .22 LR target pistol.  These were built on the .41 frame and has great balance.  Even in the 20’s and 30’s they were concerned about the cost of target shooting.  When I was a kid, I looked at that pistol and thought – man, unless Grandpa were a hit man, that pistol would just piss off a bad guy.  Didn’t think of target practice.

I know a guy who ones one of those cars (the real, full size on, not just a wind tunnel model).  Too bad he is a bit of a hermit, has no email, and is almost impossible to get on the phone.   Left him a message - well see if he answers!  He'll probably balk at the price anyway.

Did see on his website that he has a couple of Howitzers for sale.  Hey SteveJ, have YOU got a Howitzer??   http://www.22lrconversions.com/military-vehicles.htm
