Hmmm... I'm more than willing and capable of doing all the work needed -
might be a opportunity for finding a bargain? Then again, there's the old
saying about buying a cheap Ferrari... ;-)
Also, I suspect the price of parts would empty my F Car Account pretty
quickly (it- the bank acct - being quite small). I'd
have to get it real cheap. Which is
unlikely IMO as thereâs always some glassy eyed nut with more $$âs than brains
who could outbid me....

I never said stay away from 456s.... These are the cars that I make money
on
:)
Seriously though, they are a money pit unless you buy one that's had all
the
updates, and you do all the work yourself when things need doing. Even
then,
you need a good dose of luck so things don't mysteriously die.
I think the 348 and Mondial t are in the same league as Clyde says. I have
a
t and if I didn't do the work on it myself, I would be more broke than I
am.

When two of the independent parts dealers say to run away from the
456, you have to wonder why? There were a lot of electronic
systems
on that car that we're not exactly ready for prime time. They had the
bugs worked out by the time the 550 showed up.
