Greetings F-people!

Having been in China six different long stays
and currently living in Chinatown in Houston,
I have been exposed to lots of Chinese delites.
Actually better Houston restaurants can get to
about 90% of mainland quality. Probably the
difference is due to freshness of ingredients?
Of course there are exceptions. Yao Ming's is
the worst expensive Chinese restaurant in town.
And avoid all the buffets! You really have to go
to the mainland to get duck heads, rooster heads,
live silkworms, etc or great drinks like fermented
mare's milk, etc. I used to wonder who eats the
conventional parts of the animals? Unfortunately
pig rectum soup, chicken feet, etc can be found
here and there. But all in all, I have had no
Chinese food that tastes bad or made me sick
(except once). Its just that certain items are
difficult appearance wise.
                               Enjoy
