Hi all,
I apologize before hand! But looking for my Ferrari documentation, etc I came across--THE CREATION which is from my days in the Pentagon! You might have had to be there but it applies to a lot of things. Enjoy!

THE CREATION

In the beginning there was the PLAN

And then came the assumptions

And the assumptions were without form

And the PLAN was completely without substance

And darkness was on the faces of the Action Officers

And they spake amongst themselves, saying

“It is a crock of shit, and it stinketh”

 

And the A. O.s sought out the Branch Heads and said

“It is a pail of dung, of which none may abide the odor”

And the Branch Heads gazed long upon it, and saw that it was true

And they went unto the Bravos and said

“It is a container of excrement, and it is very strong

such that none may stand it”

 

And the Bravos took counsel amongst themselves

And pondered long over how to brief the Flags

And rewrote innumerable Point Papers on the issue

And greatly frustrated the Branch Heads and A. O.s

At last, the Bravos went to the Division Directors and said

“It is a vessel of fertilizer, of surpassing strength”

 

And the Division Directors spoke, one unto another

And held endless meetings

Until one of them said “It contains that which aids plant growth,

and is wonderfully strong”

And they rejoiced and went forth to the Three-stars

And the Division Directors briefed unto the Three-stars

“It promotes growth, and is very powerful”

 

And the Three-stars were joyous

And they went unto to the CNO. saying

“Lo we bring you that which will promote the growth and efficiency of the Navy,

and of these areas in particular”

 

And the CNO looked upon the PLAN

And saw that is was good

And the PLAN became Policy
