If your foot is off the gas, then the car should just be getting enough gas to maintain idle rpm. If the rpm is higher than that (as in throttle being lifted from a higher rpm) then the rpm will stay high for as long as the flywheel momentum can spin the motor, after which it will deteriorate to idle rpm eventually. -- charles From: Larry Bard [mailto:larrybard [at] hotmail.com] (Heck, things seem quite slow anyway.) |
