After 15 years you haven't figured out that this is about the money and not the fans?  I've walked away from watching, if I do catch a race, I DVR it at watch it in about 15 minutes...  I don't think that it is going to be successful in TX or NJ, but Bernie will get his share.  The sport is basically arbitrary and irrelevant.  Yawn.

Hello old Friends,

With Bernie-Vision switching from SpeedTV to NBC (or NBC Sports) for 2013, I fear my following of F1 may come to a close (after 15 years of religious following).  The issue here is not anything against NBC, other than the four big networks' propensity for hate-TV (Vote the bastard off!!!, Cheat on your Wife and WWF).  The issue is that I live in south Texas, and Sunday morning TV in Texas is church.  If F1 is shown at all on the NBC affiliate, it will be delayed broadcast - unless it interferes with football.  Now if we're talking about some NBC Sports network, I probably won't get it at all as I have no sports channels on my TV service.

Forgive the rant, please.  This is just another Bernie-induced cock-up.  Bringing F1 back to America is not for Americans.  Its for the advertising of American brands in Europe and Asia.  After all, who watches F1 in America?  The FerrariLIST, FerrariCHAT and three guys who moved here from Germany.
