I have the same questions as Matt.  I know a little bit about watches (a *very* little bit), but not enough to know if these are actually quality watches.  At these prices, I'm almost a buyer, but would like to know how good they are.  (Came close to buying a watch at the FCA meet in CA, but the watch I liked turned out to be a $600 watch rather than the $350 the guy told me initially.  I liked it *A LOT* better at $350 than at $600, or even the $500 he offered to drop it to.  Oh well....)
 
Regarding Gary's point - I think the owner's site, or maybe even the Ferrari Store, had some "tricks" to getting way more than just 40% off.  Search FChat and I think the tricks are in there (though they may have expired by now).
