I heard it but also didn't consider it racist.  

At some point you have to draw the line about what is a simple factual
description and what is intended as demeaning or stereotypical. To
describe Vettel as fair and blonde is simply an accurate physical
description. If they had described him as "a fair, blonde member of the
uber race," that would have been completely different.

Same for Fernando's description. I remember years back a Saturday Night
Live skit with Jon Lovitz portraying Michael Dukakis. During a speech,
he said "My ancestors were little people. Little swarthy people." Got a
big laugh, but also a physically accurate description, not a slam on
Mediterranean features.

what you're implying by calling the comments "racial." It was just a
comparison of different attitudes, teams, nationalities/ethnicities,
etc. And was it Varsha or was it Posey?
