Whenever I price shopped Costco against TirePro for high end Michelins or Bridgestones it was TirePro that was less expensive even after shipping and labor.

Those who turn up their noses at Costco tires are, well, snobs who look down
at Walmart shoppers, etc. Jeez.

Costco sells Michelin, BF Goodrich and Bridgestone -- certainly now what one
might consider "cheap" or "generic" or "off-brand."

They will order specific sizes and models. Want some new Michelin Pilot
Supersports for your 458? They'll get them.

Costco installations are, in my experience, the best in the business.
Really. They use nitrogen to fill. They use TORQUE WRENCHES to tighten
bolts BY HAND (not air guns with torque sticks). The employees do NOTHING
but mount tires all day long -- no oil changes, brake work, exhaust
installations, nothing. So they get really, really experienced. Costco
also has free tire rotations, and a great warranty -- unhappy with your
tires, even after thousands of miles? Go back and they'll give you a full
refund. Who else does that?

Bottom line, the same Michelin or Bridgestone tires that you get from Tire
Rack, or your local Fcar dealership, get installed while you wait by a
well-compensated, well-trained team of installation experts who do nothing
but tire work, at a very good price, with the best warranty in the business.

Why would you NOT get tires at Costco?

(Disclosure: I get tires from Costco when I want those brands, and when I
want something else, I'll get them from Tire Rack)

Vty,
