Last week purchased Bridgestone RE11s for the rear of my Porsche.  Ordered them from Tire Rack.  They were shipped directly to the trusted mechanics who work on all my cars.  Found out something interesting (which I guess I had forgotten): Tire Rack doesn't charge sales tax.  But if I have my mechanics order the tires from Tire Rack, my mechanics are required to charge me sales tax when they resell them to me.  So of course it's crazy not to order them myself.
