>> Bob from beautiful Lovettsville, VA, notes “I then saw about 5 nasty scratches in the paint, obviously done purposely. “ As discouraging as it is, there may be some people out there that enjoy seeing a Ferrari – after all, what are car shows for? But that said, car shows are a lot of work – before, DURING, and after. I like taking our car to a mix and match car show – either our old 1971 911T or the red 78 GTS – boy, do they look out of place – heh heh. I take a lounge chair, a sandwich, and a good book. Pop the engine cover put an info sign on the windshield what the car is – “. . . while this 1978 Ferrari 308 GTS looks fast it is a heavy tank easily trounced by almost any modern vehicle.” Sort of self-deprecating humor – I don’t think I’m better than anyone – just like the car. Where were the scratches and what’s the plan for repair? Onward DOUG Think it was the Clayton boys from Brunswick, MD? They say their mosquitos on the Potomac are better than inland Beautiful Lovettsville mosquitos. |
