Not hijacking, but if you don't read till the end it might seem so. Direct-TV customers had a channel called FIT it  had all forms of exercise then Oprah bought and now it just has Gilad. Which is better than noting. Oprah did
not even change the name it is still called Fit, Should be called Unwed Mothers going to the ER, UMER.

So when you find some channel you like better enjoy it while you can, because somebody will change it.

Velocity and a DVR are still the best right now, from a TV perspective.  Managed to get through 3 hours of auctions last night in just 15 minutes, fast forwarding to the cars that were slightly of interest...

Yep.  I remember back in the early 90's I was reading a magazine piece (Autoweek, I think) about F1 coverage on the then-great-Speedvision.  They said that Speedvision determined that they got the same ratings numbers for F1 whether they showed it live or tape delayed at 2 or 3 am.  So the Asian races (I think it was just Japan and Australia then) were the only ones broadcast live.  (well, a couple of others like Monaco were, but not all of them)

"All my life's a circle..." - indeed!  (sadly, in this case)
