Yep. Porsche
replaced a lot of 911 and Boxster engines in the early '00s -
it's a pretty well documented problem. I had thought my Oil Analysis testing might help
but evidently the failure and happen quickly with little
or no warning. The German auto industry had problems in
the 90s and are still
fighting the results. Mercedes made cares with paint falling off,
wiring that self-destructed and diesel engines that had the #1
